How I’m using QR Tie right now in beta

I’ve started to attach a QR Tie to things I don’t want to lose. At a very minimum, I have a public page that says “If found, please call 830-360-1920” when someone scans it. This also serves as proof positive that it is mine, since I can show I own that tag by changing its data. It was kind of fun identifying my luggage at the carousel with the attached QR Tie.

Additionally, I’ve been attaching PDF documents and manuals to items, instead of keeping that messy drawer with all the manuals. Some of those manuals are things we no longer have. Also, I don’t remember the last time I actually found the manual I was looking for.

We are reorganizing my office with a container inventory driven by QR Tie shortly as well. We’ll be introducing a service related to this soon.
